Does PrismaHost work with Aruba hosting?

Yes. Use the Aruba preset (FTPS, port 21, passive mode). Host is usually ftp.yourdomain.it with the username and password from the hosting panel.

Where are my FTP passwords stored?

Only on this PC, under your Windows user, encrypted with DPAPI. PrismaHost does not send credentials to Prisma Studio servers.

Which protocols does PrismaHost support?

FTP, FTPS and SFTP. Choose the protocol your hosting provider documents. FTPS is recommended for Aruba-style shared hosting.

Free FTP, FTPS and SFTP file manager for Windows hosting

PrismaHost is a free FTP, FTPS and SFTP client for Windows. It is a dual-pane hosting file manager: your computer on the left, the remote server on the right. Built by Prisma Studio for everyday work on shared hosting (including Aruba) without a heavy FTP suite.

FTP, FTPS and SFTP in one place

Shared hosting still uses FTP or FTPS. Many VPS and developer hosts prefer SFTP. PrismaHost speaks all three. An Aruba preset fills typical FTPS settings so you only add your domain and panel password.

Profiles stay on your PC

Connection profiles are saved under your Windows user and encrypted with DPAPI. PrismaHost does not upload passwords to Prisma Studio. The only extra network call is an optional update check on prismastudio.app. FTP traffic goes only to the host you choose.

Built for daily file work

Upload files or folders, download, create directories, rename, delete, preview images, edit text and code, sort listings, and follow transfers in a bottom queue. After you press Connect, the hosting list always refreshes so you see the real remote folder.
